Coalition Letter to Governor Healey Urging Funding for State SNAP in FY25 Budget

The Feeding Our Neighbors Coalition sent a letter to Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll today, requesting inclusion of sufficient funding in the FY25 House 2 Budget to continue providing nutrition benefits for immigrant families in need.

This letter comes after the inclusion $6 million in the recent Fiscal Year 2023 Supplemental Budget to provide state-funded nutrition benefits for low-income humanitarian immigrants during the current fiscal year. Additional funding will be required for these benefits to continue past this fiscal year.
