Feeding Our Neighbors Bill Hearing & Lobby Day

The Feeding Our Neighbors Coalition has been working hard to pass bills S.76/H.135: An Act establishing basic needs assistance for Massachusetts immigrant residents. There was an official hearing for the Legislation on September 12 at 10am in the Joint Committee For Children & Families!  

You can send written testimony anytime to the House Chair Jay Livingstone and Senate Chair Robyn Kennedy (Jay.Livingstone@mahouse.gov, robyn.kennedy@masenate.gov). The Committee will accept testimony before, during and after the hearing - up until the Committee goes into "Executive Session" to report out the bills before them, likely later in the fall.
